Mindfulness is the practice of remembering to recognize the present moment’s experience with a kind, curious, and non-judgmental awareness.
In this course, you’ll learn the foundations of mindfulness meditation or deepen your existing practice within a supportive community. Each week we’ll cultivate mindfulness through guided meditations, informational talks, and group discussions, nurturing both understanding and embodied presence.
We’ll also explore the Brahma Viharas—the Four Immeasurable Heart Qualities of Loving-Kindness (Metta), Compassion (Karuna), Sympathetic Joy (Mudita), and Equanimity (Upekkha)—with Forgiveness as an honorary fifth member. These radiant heart practices are deeply healing and transformative, supporting the softening of anger, fear, disconnection, jealousy, and reactivity, helping us soften and tend to ourselves and others with care, open our hearts, and overall realigning us with love, care, gratitude, connection, and present moment beingness.
The course will cover:
Mindfulness of the body, breath, and senses
